In many dioceses, an annual Mass takes place for married couples who are celebrating 25, 40, 50 or 60 years of marriage. Sadly, it is noticeable how few silver jubilarians there are. We know all too well that marriage and family are in trouble. For this reason, a booklet such as Two in One Flesh must be warmly welcomed. It is both practical and profound. Above all, it opens up the riches of our Catholic understanding of marriage and helps us to see married life and love as an authentic vocation and spiritual commitment.
